Yoav came to me with a concept: an AI mentor that could teach aspiring dropshipping entrepreneurs the way a seasoned coach would — not through static videos or PDFs, but through a real conversation that adapts to where you are.

The web app

The original build was a web application, an AI-powered teaching platform built with Angular, Node.js, and MySQL. The AI knew the student's goals, experience level, and niche interests, and guided them step by step through product research, store setup, and marketing — all through natural dialogue.

Going native

After the concept proved itself on web, Yoav wanted to go native. My role on the iOS version was to build the web experience as a contained Angular app that another Swift developer could embed directly into the native shell via WKWebView. I engineered the JavaScript bridge layer, handled the onboarding flow handoff between native Swift and the web context, and ensured the AI chat experience felt native despite running inside a WebView. This architecture let the product ship fast while keeping the AI and curriculum logic in one place.

App Store launch

The app launched on the App Store in November 2024 and has since grown to thousands of users with a 4.8-star rating, generating recurring subscription revenue. Users pay $9.99/month, $79.99/year, or $189.99 for lifetime access.
