I've wanted to build this for a long time.

Every project I ship eventually hits the same wall.

The data is sitting right there in the database. But getting an answer means writing SQL by hand or standing up a full analytics stack that takes weeks to build.

I got tired of that. So I built Query.Design.

How it works

It connects to your database and lets you ask questions in plain English. You type "why did signups drop last week" and get an answer in under two minutes. No dashboards to configure. No data warehouse. No analyst to wait on.

I use it on my own projects and on client work. It replaced my query editor for most of the questions I ask daily.

The challenge

The product works well technically. Marketing it turned out to be the harder problem. Self-hosted software with a lifetime license attracts a very specific buyer, and finding them takes a different kind of energy than building.

I haven't fully committed to the push yet. But when I do, the pitch is clean: one payment, runs on your server, your data never leaves your hands.

The product is ready. I'm getting there.
